Blobby Table

Part sculpture, part furniture, the Soft Monument Table challenges expectations of material, weight, and form. Handmade from recycled paper maché clay, it transforms a lightweight material into an object that appears carved, solid, and ancient.

Its rounded legs and irregular silhouette give the piece a sense of movement, as though it has slowly formed over time rather than been manufactured. Every curve, texture, and imperfection is shaped by hand, making each table completely unique.

Despite its substantial appearance, the table is surprisingly lightweight—a recurring element in KAOS's work that invites interaction and curiosity. Visitors are often drawn to touch it, questioning how something that looks so heavy can feel so light.
